Q. How many times can I transfer these designs?

A. If you are transferring onto a coarsely woven fabric like toweling, the transfers are good for about two times. If you are transferring onto a smooth fabric it will take less ink so you should get about 4-7 transfers from your pattern. When the ink is used up the lines remain and the design can be traced with an iron-on transfer pencil and iron-on again or just traced directly onto your fabric.

Q. What is a good project for a beginner?
A. Basically keep it simple. A design of their choosing done in a simple running stitch is a good place for a young child. It gives them the chance to learn how to run a needle in and out of the fabric, but if it's easier let them poke and stab the needle in and out. My daughter, when she was little, did her initial in satin stitch with the poke and stab method, her work was a bit primitive but sweet and she was happy. Just let them have fun and remember there is not right or wrong. PLEASE, never rip out a child's work (unless there is a bad knot in it or something). I've heard from ladies who had mothers or grandmothers, rip out their embroidery because it was not neat enough or did not look good on the backside.

I do not do embroidery work or sew clothes so they look good on the back or insides. If people are looking that close they need to get a life. I only care if my work looks good on the outside and does not fall apart, remember sewing should be fun!

Q. What is the minimum yardage I can order?
A. One yard minimum is required when ordering on line since the web site is not designed to handle anything less. If you would like to order smaller quantities please feel free to call in your order.

Q. If an item is Backorder, will I be charged for more shipping?
A. No, it was not your fault I did not have it in inventory so you will not have to pay the extra shipping.
