Yesterday's Charm specializes in iron-on hand embroidery patterns, quilt patterns and supplies. It is a mail order/internet business, created in 1998 by me, Loyce Saxton. I'm the owner/designer/operator, sometimes I'm unable to answer your calls but will do my best to get back with you as soon as I can Sewing is something I have enjoyed doing since I was a little girl first sewing clothes for my dolls, then me, then my children, as well as doing embroidery and cross stitch. The ladies of my family have been sewing for generations. I'm simply continuing the family tradition. My mother sewed clothes for me and my siblings and taught me most of what I know about sewing and hand work. She was always happy to help anyone with their sewing. When Mom got cancer, we did not know how we would get along with out her. My sister in-law came up with the idea of asking her to be our "Sewing Guardian Angel," she was touched when we asked. After Mom passed away I was left with the job of cleaning out her sewing room (by the way she did die with the most fabric and has been declared the winner). I found wonderful vintage sewing treasures that I wanted to share with others and this is how the whole idea to create this business started. I have continued to collect vintage treasures far beyond what I found in Mom's sewing room. My collection is the inspiration for my designs and it is a joy to share them with you.
